Unfortunately, this isn't a happy post. Just letting you know that our family has been through the ringer with sickness. Sophia has had it the worst, but she's been so sweet about it even praying, "Dear God, please make me better, " right after throwing up. The ONE positive note we found in the week was that Elise did not get sick!
For the last month, we've been looking forward to each new week saying, "Okay, this is the week where our life settles down and we get into a good rhythm and we accomplish something." But somehow that week still hasn't come. Maybe THIS is the week!
Tomorrow, November 7, is Adam's 30th birthday!!! I'm so proud of him and all that he's done in his life. This week running up to his birthday was such a downer though, that he's been feeling a little depressed, so if you wanted to send him a word of encouragement that would be great.

ReplyDeleteAnd... if you NEVER settle into a rhythm, that is OK too. Where is the adventure in rhythm :)? That sounds like "normal." Patsy Clairmont says, Normal is just a setting on your dryer.
Happy Birthday Adam! Would love to catch up with you guys! I feel like rhythm is a tough thing to accomplish these days with a little one. I hope you guys start to feel better though. We are praying for you! Maybe we could skype sometime soon.
